Six Flags St. Louis is one of the three original parks in the Six Flags Chain. It opened in 1971 just west of St. Louis and since that time has grown to include a water park, five steel coasters and three wooden coasters and a bunch of other rides and attractions. It sits on a wooded hillside and is a joy to visit.
In 2026 Six Flags St. Louis was sold to EPR Properties who have leased the management of the park to Enchanted Parks. After the 2026 season Six Flags St. Louis will become Mid-America Park.
