Daredevil Daze at Six Flags St. Louis is always a red letter
day on my calendar. Cold, wet or warm the day is always
perfect because the park is empty, we are given more than a few
treats from the park and I have a ton of great friends there to enjoy it
all with.
For those of you who don't know about Daredevil Daze it is an event
put on by the Heart of America Region of the American Coaster
Enthusiasts for club members and guests. The day consists of a
virtually empty park, lunch, a behind the scenes walk back and two
hours of coasters all to ourselves at the end of the day.
After getting everyone registered for the event Six Flags St. Louis
took us back to Justice League: The Battle for Metropolis for the
first ride of the day. Here is Greg, Rohan and Ryder along
with a few friends after battling The Joker, Lex Luthor and their
minions (not the cute kind) all around the city of Metropolis.
After Justice League it was a quick hop, skip and a jump across the
plaza to our first coaster of the day: Mr. Freeze: Reverse Blast.
It seems that Dustin is not a big Mr. Freeze fan. He only rides it
once in a decade and this was is first time on it since the trains
were reversed turning it from plane old Mr. Freeze into Mr. Freeze:
Reverse Blast. As you can see from his reaction it will be
another decade before we get him on it.
While Mr. Freeze might not be a re-ride for Dustin across the park
Batman: The Ride was.
