The annual Daredevil
Daze event that Six Flags St. Louis puts
on for the American Coaster Enthusiasts is always the best day of
the year to visit the park. It is a day full of good friends,
great coasters, lots of fun and a great time for all.
Speaking of good friends Ken and Tony showed up in a pair of festive
Screamin' Eagle t-shirts.
With the park open until midnight for Fright Fest our exclusive ride
time was moved to the morning with an hour on the Boss and Screamin'
Eagle.
This year the Boss was a little shorter as Six Flags had removed the
troublesome and very rough helix at the rides finale. I'm
normally not a big fan of putting a coaster under the knife but this
was a massive improvement over the painful extended shuffle-fest
that was the helix.
After we all took in the new and improved Boss it was off to spend
some time on a coaster that needs no improvement...the Screamin' Eagle.
As you can see Bond brought his fiancée Charlotte along for the fun.
Six Flags St. Louis was her second amusement park ever so our goal
for the day was to give her the full experience. As you will
see on the next page Bond wasn't too thrilled with some of that.
Here is Dustin having a blast riding the Eagle over and over.
