Needing to get out of the house for one last coaster trip together before he headed off to the US Navy Bond and I once more pointed the nose of the SUV southward with the destinations in the trusty ole GPS set for Six Flags St. Louis.

We needed some coasters and we wanted to check out the new pandemic safe "Hollowfest" event.

We always rub Dave Roemer's nose wishing for new coasters to come to Six Flags St. Louis.

Hollowfest is a pandemic safe version of Frightfest where the monsters aren't the only ones wearing masks and they are social distancing from guests on platforms like this one for the "Backlot Creatures" with multiple layers of fencing to keep everyone apart.

We took the long walk back to Batman. Thankfully Batman and much of the rest of the park were running multiple trains so at the start of the day lines weren't too long.

Batman's finale is one of my favorite parts of the ride as with all of the high G forces I tend to start to grey out with that warm feeling and tunnel vision for a few seconds.
