Adventureland was one of the last parks added to the country during the theme park craze that began with Six Flags Over Texas in the 1960's and lasted through the 1970's where it seems like every city had to have one. It opened in 1974 and has grown steadily since then. It is no Cedar Point, Six Flags or Busch Gardens but it is a nice little park that does a great job of giving it's customers a good time.
