I am used to stalling out on steel coasters like the long gone
Greezed Lightnin
at Six Flags Astroworld or Mr. Freeze at
Six
Flags St. Louis but it is really weird doing it on a wooden
coaster.
It is just as traditional as the wooden coaster experience is
Switchback really throws you for a loop taking what a wooden coaster
is and messing with it.
As you can see by the expressions on our face as we sit here in the
brake run/bottom of the first drop despite having our minds really
messed with by Switchback we loved the ride.
Switchback takes you back to the first drop where after stalling out
a second time the train comes to a stop on a brake run. There
to return to the station a the track ahead of you switches to a turn
before the brakes release and let you roll back into the station.
It is a really amazingly brilliant design.
The Z stands for Zack, D stands for Danielle and the T is for
Tiffany. The park is named after Danny and Sarah's children.
I really like that when starting their business that their children
were the first thing on their mind.
