From the hill next to Mamba's lift hill you could get an amazing view of the Zambezi Zinger if Boomerang wasn't in the way.

Matthew was our totally awesome tour guide for the morning.

Once the behind the scenes tour was done we were all taken back to the Zambezi Zinger before the park opened for a nice first ride of the day.

Like Patriot I feel that Zambezi Zinger is kind of an underrated coaster.  Yes, it has had issues such has needing the lift hill tuned into a sweatbox from a World War II prisoner of war movie due to needing the lift motors kept dry so they don't loose traction with the train when it rains but the ride is fast, fun, and good lord the quickness of the transitions that these Infinity Flyer trains can make are simply amazing.  There would be quite a few more rides like this if Skyline and Great Coasters had made a less finicky ride.  Canada's Wonderland was certainly looking at adding one among a few other parks in the then Cedar Fair chain.

Shortly after the park opened notice went out through the Heart of America Region's Group Me server that we use to communicate during and after events that Timber Wolf was open.  Needless to say everyone made a beeline for the Wolf.
