ACE Around the World at Worlds of Fun, Kansas City, Missouri

So how was Timber Wolf running?

Just take a look at Worlds of Fun super-fan Danielle in the second row.

As you can see she was VERY pleased. The only bad thing was Timber Wolf was only running one train but that was due to the aforementioned stripping of the budget from Six Flags before the sale to EPR/Enchanted Parks. Just to be honest things were a bit rough operationally at Worlds of Fun just like Six Flags St. Louis but that was all due to being banned from pretty much purchasing parts until three weeks before opening to the public. Maintenance takes time and thankfully Worlds of Fun is no longer a forgotten park in a giant chain like it was under Cedar Fair and Six Flags. Rough starts like this are going to be a thing of the past under Enchanted Parks.

Giving everyone at ACE Around the World a little "inside baseball" was Worlds of Fun's Park President Damien Nelson. He took questions from attendees for quite a while. Lots was discussed including the fact that they are working on a five year plan for the park his desire to add a dark ride to World's of Fun. If it were up to me I'd go with an "Around the World in Eighty Days" themed ride as that story is what Worlds of Fun is themed around.
