As Worlds of Fun cleared out everyone headed back to Mamba as it was to
be ours once the park closed.
A quick note on Mamba. If you got to ride it over the last few
years with the mid course brake turned down consider yourselves lucky as
it is back to how it originally operated when it opened. The
insane, almost painful amounts of airtime on the return run have been
mellowed out but it is still the best of the Morgan hyper-coasters.
Mamba's second train was not quite up and running during our visit again
due to Six Flags cutting budgets and refusing to help get the parks they
sold up and running. As we had over eighty people attending and
just one train on Mamba...
...Worlds of Fun added Patriot to our evening festivities after the
winners of the scavenger hunt got done with their five laps.
ACE Around the World was an absolute blast this year. I'd like to
thank my assistants Matt Laskowski and Travis Shoemaker for helping me
put it on and I would like to thank the management and staff of Worlds
of Fun and Enchanted Parks for letting us come and play.
Apologies to Chris Sneed as I'm still figuring out my new camera and I
didn't mean to partly cover the flash in this picture.
It was an awesome day and you should join us next year.
