Before we all headed into Worlds of Fun to tour the Zambezi Zinger the park had everyone fill out a questionnaire. There were questions like "can you list the coasters in Missouri that you have ridden", "how many ACE Heart of America events have you attended", "what is the last 4 digits on your ticket's barcode" or "what is your coaster count". Neil and Alyx didn't mention what the purpose of these questions were for but we all found out at our catered lunch when everyone was handed out an envelope of play money to play with.

The amount of play money someone got was based on their answers and it was fall to be used when Worlds of Fun auctioned off all of the ride parts and goodies that were covering our tables at lunch.

There were shirts, souvenirs, a wheel from Patriot...

...this bit of Prowler track (that since has been all cleaned up and resides in my coaster room), cables from Detonator, chain links from Boomerang, and a bunch more.

ACE Around the World at Worlds of Fun, Kansas City, Missouri

When the auction kicked off the bidding was frenzied, there were people hooting, hollering, passing cash to friends to help them out with a bid, and a lot of fun. Most of us walked away with goodies like Brandon with his section of Prowler track and everyone had a lot of fun with the whole process. We all had so much fun with the auction that it is at the top of my list to ask for when it comes time to plan ACE Around the World 2025.
