ACE Around the Worlds at Worlds of Fun, Kansas City, Missouri

After lunch we had another behind the scenes tour, this time of Worlds of Fun's Lore of the Vampire haunted house.

With the lights on we were able to really see all of the detail that goes into creating a proper horrifying haunted house.

Here is a map of the first half of Lore of the Vampire that occupies the old Orient Express station.

Part of the scenery for Lore of the Vampire includes photos of some famous movie vampires including Kurt Barlow from "Salem's Lot" and Blacula from the movie "Blacula". Sadly as a classic horror movie fan there was no photo of Bella Lugosi as the ultimate Count Dracula but most people will be too terrified when going through this during Haunt to notice.

With no air conditioning in Lore of the Vampire it got so hot while we were being told about all that goes into haunted attractions like this that Dustin and Travis and to take off their flip flops to fan themselves.
