The new Zambezi Zinger roller coaster under construction at Worlds of Fun, Kansas City, Missouri

This nice airtime hill over the Worlds of Fun Railroad is where the Zambezi Zinger really starts taking advantage of the hilly terrain that Worlds of Fun sits on. As I said the second half is lower than the first half so I expect the train to keep speeding up all the way to you come into the Zambezi Zinger's brake run.

This crew member was running the steel track through this machine. I'm curious if it was beveling the ends of the track so it can overlap whichever section it is up against.

It was awesome getting to spend some time watching the artisans from GCI working their magic.

Until the ride is complete and has been tested I'm going to be waiting for the news that the Zambezi Zinger's opening is upon us so I can hop in the car and head to Worlds of Fun for another day of fun.

If the Zambezi Zinger rides as good as it looks Worlds of Fun is going to have a massive hit on their hands.

I for one can't wait to ride. If you don't have plans to head to Kansas City this summer you should start planning.
