The Grand Carnivale during ACE Around the World at Worlds of Fun, Kansas City, Missouri

Before the park closed we all had to stop at the shop for a few Grand Carnivale souveniers.

Then we were off to Prowler for the most insane, stupid, zany and fun exclusive ride time that I have ever experienced in my life.

Maybe it was the heat? Maybe it was the humidity? Maybe it was Prowler running like a bat out of hell, Maybe it was the crew who were having as much fun as all of us enthusiasts? Maybe it was twenty seven people spread out among two trains doing a fire drill switching seats and partners as soon as the train stopped in the station? Maybe it was the fifteen or so laps on Prowler? You really can't peg the insanity on any one thing but the fun was contagious and rapidly accelerating as we sped around the tack and through the hour.

Massive kudos go out to the Prowler crew. We were excited and having fun and they were excited and having fun and they really made the night.

One of the things that I absolutely love about being a coaster enthusiast is you can take someone like Daniele who had never been to an event before and came to it all alone. By the end of the day she was another member of the coaster family and making plans to see us all at another event. ACE Around the World was her baptism in the world of being a coaster enthusiast. She is a lifelong Worlds of Fun junkie who found out about ACE after hearing about the event. After looking up what ERT was she joined ACE and signed up for the event. It was great getting to see her realize that we all are alike and it is so much fun sharing this great hobby together.

...ACE Around the World came to an end. Don't worry if you were not one of the lucky 27 who attended because we are already working on setting the event up for 2022.
