Winterfest at Worlds of Fun, Kansas City, Missouri

It was nice seeing how much Worlds of Fun covered the park with lights, theming and holiday touches.

It was really surprising to find that most of the park was open for WinterFest with only the stretch from Boomerang to Mamba closed off.

As you can see it was pretty damp for our visit. The temperatures sat just above freezing with rain all day which kept away the crowds but it did make doe a chilly evening.

One thing I really liked about Winterfest is that everywhere you turned there was some sort of a prop or scene where people could pose for pictures.

Worlds of Fun even turned one of the monsters from Haunt into the parks own grinch.
