The iconic Cinderella Castle is the gateway to Fantasyland if you are headed there from Main Street U.S.A. and that's where we're going.

Fantasyland is going through a huge overhaul that's not quite complete despite all of Disney's advertising.

On the edge of Liberty Square and Fantasyland sits Rapunzel's Tower behind a construction wall.  I'm not sure if this is part of any attraction or is just part of the new scenery.

Here's the entrance to the "New Fantasyland".  Off in the distance is the only thing that's got me really excited and that's the Seven Dwarves Mine Train that's still under construction as you can see and is not due to open until 2014.

A big part of the new Fantasyland that is open is the "Be Our Guest" full service restaurant that we were unable to get a reservation for and Gaston's Tavern that has this wonderful tribute to Gaston from "Beauty & The Beast" that was erected by Gaston himself.  How kind and charitable of him.

Like I said earlier about Big Thunder Mountain the thing that sets Disney ahead of everyone else is their attention to even the smallest detail for all of their themed areas and attractions.
