The Wave is Valleyfair's aptly named shoot the chutes ride.



As you can see The Wave makes one monstrous wave.  I used to love these rides as a teenager when I lived in Houston and needed to cool off from the oppressive summer heat but as an adult would rather sweat than have to walk around all day long in wet shoes.



Our next stop was Valleyfair's Corkscrew.



Corkscrew was built in 1980 and while being twenty-seven years old is still a decent ride.
