It's certainly not the tallest coaster at Valleyfair with a first drop of sixty-five feet but it is nicely placed over a lagoon.



Valleyfair's Corkscrew is almost an exact copy of Cedar Point's Corkscrew except that they switched around the speed hill - loop combination on Cedar Point's version for this one.



Of course with a name like Corkscrew one would have to expect a corkscrew somewhere on the ride.



For its age it was a decent ride but I don't get the logo as it's the word corkscrew with some pink bubbles.  I mean wouldn't a corkscrew be more fitting than pink bubbles?
