When Universal's Islands of Adventure opened the ride that really blew the entire amusement park industry and enthusiasts away was The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man.

The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man is a super immersive dark ride/simulator that gives riders the chance to join Peter Parker to battle the Doctor Octopus and a few more of his assortment of super villains. What makes this ride so amazing is how it makes riders feel like they are a part of the story with the combination of dark ride sets, lighting, sound and massive three dimension video screens. I'm no simulator ride fan and I loved Spider-Man. A big plus is everything works so well on this ride I rarely had to look away from the screen to avoid getting sick.

Doctor Doom's Fear Fall is your standard S&S Power Sports "Space Shot" ride.

The ride experience can't be added to much but the theming of the queue for Doctor Doom is really fun.

Of course you can't go wrong getting rocketed up a hundred and eighty-five feet into the sky before bouncing up and down before the ride comes to the end.
