The Holywood Rip Ride Rocket roller coaster at Universal Studios Florida, Orlando, Florida

It pains me to hate on this ride as outside of the plethora of brake runs and the roughness it has some cool looking elements.

It is just the pain....

...and hitting yet another brake run every twenty seconds that kills any fun and enjoyment.

Honestly this coaster was themed completely wrong. I know the Mike Judge movie "Idiocracy" was released by 20th Century Fox but the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit needs to be themed after the TV show "Ow My Balls" that plays a part in Idiocracy's dystopian dumbed down future. Until Universal and Mauer can keep this ride from repeatedly kicking riders in the family jewels I'd make it a one and done ride jus for the credit. It's a shame because it could be a fun ride.

Ok with my rant on the Holywood Rip Ride Rockit over with I want to state that is the ONLY negative thing I have to say about Universal Studios Florida. By the way as a massive fan of the classic Universal monsters my hopes are that they have a nice themed land in the new Universal park that is under construction.
