Back to the Future at Universal Studios Florida, Orlando, Florida

Moving into the Springfield part of Universal Studios Florida there are a few reminders of the long gone Back to the Future ride.

During my previous visit in March of 1999 the Back to the Future ride was not yet open. Half the way through our day a buzz swept the park that it was going to open for test riders and my brothers, Mom and I sped across the park and got in line. Talking to the ride operators we were going to be the first public riders to try out the new simulator ride as they worked the bugs out of the system. After a short wait we got to hop into our very own Delorian time machine and were off on a chase to stop the dreaded Biff Tannen from changing the future. Back to the Future was an amazing ride and is still one of my favorite simulator rides.

In 2007 Back to the Future's run came to an end and the citizens of Springfield started popping up in this corner of Universal Studios Florida.

You can get some Lard Lad Doughnuts or enjoy a nice cold Duff Beer.
