Rookie Racer at Six Flags St. Louis/Mid America Park By Enchanted Parks, Eureka, Missouri

Got to give a little respect to Six Flags and their incompetent corporate leadership for Rookie Racer.  With little investment in the chain the year before Rookie Racer opened the then CEO Selim Bassoul freaked out over horrible numbers at the end of the season.

As a result parks were told to go and find deals at the annual International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions trade show.  Rookie Racer was originally built for another park but the deal fell through so Six Flags St. Louis got it for a deal.  Six Flags Over Georgia and Six Flags Fiesta Texas also scored coasters during that trade show but Six Flags St. Louis really got the best deal out of the three parks as both of the Kid Flash Cosmic Coasters by Skyline Attractions purchased for those parks have been maintenance nightmares and are closed where this fun little coaster keeps thrilling guests.

Located up on the hillside in the back of the park Sky Screamer is one of the best additions to Six Flags St. Louis over the last couple of decades.

Raising a couple of hundred of feet suspended by chains while spinning over forty miles an hour is a thrilling way to get a view of the park while cooling off.

Sky Screamer is going to need a little of work next year as the Six Flags lighted at the top of the two hundred and thirty-six foot tall tower are going to have to come down.  Travis has already declared dibs on one set of them.
