While carousels are not the big draw that gets people to hop
in a car and head to an amusement park with the work that went into
it the Grand Ole Carousel is going to have many more riders now as
it is not a one and done ride anymore.

People are going to want to ride the Grand Ole' Carousel over and
over.

As of the media preview Six Flags St. Louis needs about four hundred
light bulbs to make this ride glow after dark. I'm looking
forward to seeing it all lit up. It's going to be magical.

Beyond how the Grand Ole' Carousel looks how was the ride itself you
ask? The horses move smoother and no longer move clunky.
With a smooth up and down the entire ride feels faster than before.
On top of that carousel organ music rings out loud across the park
when it is in motion calling guests to come and take it for a ride.

For one I can say that I'm looking forward to getting back to Six
Flags St. Louis to take the Grand Ole Carousel for more rides now
that it is open. What interests me is seeing how my wife
Carrie reacts to it and if her old favorite horse is still her
favorite or if another one catches her eye.
Head on over to Six Flags St. Louis and take the Grand Ole' Carousel
for a ride yourself.
Thanks to Six Flags St. Louis for having me and thank you for making
this classic the most beautiful carousel in the world.
