Attention to detail like adding the windows at the top of the
Gateway Arch doesn't affect the look in the big picture but it is
great seeing Six Flags going a little bit further with details to make what they
have nicer.
This nice, wide and open entrance plaza sets the mood for a day of
fun so much better than the old cramped entrance. It is
thrilling to see Six Flags finally putting something into making Six
Flags St. Louis a better park experience.
The old ticket booths in this world of of online purchases and smart
phones really weren't needed. If you want to purchase a ticket
the old fashioned way you can still visit the new Guest Relations
building in the entrance plaza.
Walking through the gates back into the park; any park, it felt
wonderful. It had been six months to the day and by far the
longest time I have gone without a park or a coaster in the last
decade or so.
Our buddy Travis who is also known as
"Coasterdude" joined us
wearing a particularly coaster geeky mask. At least he is
wearing a Ninja from
Six Flags
Magic Mountain mask as that is a truly wonderful coaster and the best
coaster named Ninja by far.
