Sun's up, time to ride.

We headed straight to Mr. Freeze and was running fantastic as usual.  I love the hang time coming back up through the top hat.  You get a few moments of just hanging there against your lap bar looking down through the structure where your brain automatically goes "CRAP" before sending a nice burst of adrenaline through your system.

In celebration of the Screaming Eagle's 40th season the World Bird Sanctuary which rehabilitates injured bald eagles as part of their mission brought a couple of these majestic birds to the park so people can get an close up look at them.

Living near the Mississippi as we do during the winter eagles are not uncommon to be seen flying around, sitting in a tree at the local mall or feeding down by the river (we take a lunch and go watch) but it is really cool getting within a few feet of them and getting to look them square in the eye.

We were both a little bit surprised seeing the line for Superman Tower of Power out of the queue and down towards Fireball.  This was a sign that the park is just a little too packed for our liking.
