I may not like to ride Boomerang but at least Six Flags St. Louis
made this coaster look nice.
Nothing is more "metal" than throwing up the horns Mr. Bond.
Here we are at the end of the night.
I have to admit that for years when people at work or around my small town
ask which park to go to for Halloween I have sent them either to Worlds
of Fun or up to Six Flags Great America as Fright Fest at Six Flags St.
Louis has been sparsely staffed with monsters and the theming was on the
level of what you would find in a local community haunted house. I
have to say that both of us were extremely impressed this year with Fright
Fest at Six Flags St. Louis. It was better than the same event at
Six Flags Great America that we visited a few weeks before and seriously
approaching the level of Worlds of Fun's Haunt. I think next year
Bond and I are going to have to take on the haunted houses at Fright Fest
to see how they are. I just wish they included all of them with regular
admission (maybe selling a jump to the head of the line pass) as I am not
a fan up upcharge attractions.
We had a great night at Six Flags St. Louis and next year when asked where
to go for Halloween I WILL be sending people to St. Louis. I have
to say that with what has been happening with the entire park; dated/broken
rides being removed/replaced, painting, and new capital investment as with
Tsunami Soaker and next years Justice League Battle For Metropolis Six Flags
is starting to really bring this park up to the level that it should be.
Now what we need for 2016 is a skyline changing attraction like a Hyper
or Giga Coaster and Six Flags St. Louis will be giving their competition
a run for their money instead of the other way around.
After this visit I can't wait for Six Flags St. Louis' 2015 season to get
here.
