Last year it was running the best it has ever been. So did Six Flags
St. Louis rest on their laurels and leave the ride as it was last year?
No.
The Boss flew down it's wicked double down first drop up and down it's twisted
course with very little roughness and none of the shuffle it's had in the
past.
You just fly over all of the Boss's hills giving me plenty of the negative
G's that I love.
I was loving the Boss but while I was riding it there was an ounce of dread
about it's helix where you always bounce, shuffle, rattle and squeal your
way painfully around and around. To my surprise there was no bounce,
maybe a teeny but of shuffle and no rattle or squeal. It was amazing
and an intense, in a good way end to the ride.
Greg, Bond and I just looked at each other with amazement when we sat there
in the brake run. The Boss is worlds better than it was last year
and is really running in top ten shape. This is the way it was meant
to run and if Six Flags St. Louis keeps it in this condition you're going
to see The Boss near the top of a lot of coaster enthusiasts lists.
