Fright Fest 2011

Being big fans of night rides we grabbed as many laps on Six Flags coasters
as we c
ould.
OMG!!!! Six Flags St. Louis has a big fog machine. They didn't
have it turned on the first time we visited Fright Fest this year but it
was on for our second visit and it exponentially added to the spooky atmosphere
over by Batman.
The fog made Batman look insanely cool. Dear Six Flags St. Louis please
get enough of these fog machines to cover the entire park with fog.
Not only will it make up for some of the sparse decorations but it makes
Fright Fest that more frightening.
Here's Bond and his favorite Fright Fest decoration, the rotten horse and
headless horseman.
We had a fun time at Fright Fest. Yeah it still doesn't hold a candle
to the
Haunt at Worlds of Fun but at least they're trying. My guess is
that Six Flags Corporate won't really shell out the money to make Fright
Fest really frightening so the park does what they can with what they have.
We didn't make it to Six Flags St. Louis as many times as we normally do
this year because things got kind of crazy at home but we had fun each time
we visited the park. Six Flags St. Louis is kind of the forgotten
middle child of the chain so they don't get tons of attention when it comes
time for serious capital investment but the people there do the best with
what they have and try to give all of their guests a good time and that's
why I like going back there again and again.
