So has the Terror Train ever been frightening or terrifying?

In years past the Terror Train took you out and there was normally some sort of a shoot out between the train conductors and some zombies, monsters or the favorite of ours Pigman. There was little terror or fright on it as the acting was always over the top and everyone on the train got plenty of laughs as we all heckled them Mystery Science Theater 3000 style. So I really don't understand why they had to declare that this wasn't going to be a frightening experience when it has never been.

Since there's no terror on this train ride it's your standard train robbery. Even without the "terror" part of this train ride everyone still heckled the actors and all had quite a few laughs.
