We had a rare treat at Fright Fest as we actually got inside of the
Palace Theater which I haven't seen a show in for years. The lobby
up where the "Phantom of the Palace" entertained us on his synthesizer.
A really awesome coaster geek find was this model of the long gone Jet Star
coaster that Six Flags St. Louis had set up in the lobby of the Palace.
I want this. I so would have walked off with it if a few of the park
employees who know me weren't hanging out nearby.
On the steps of the Palace Theater The Rotten Brothers Side Show had taken
up residence for Fright Fest.
Bond wanted to sit right up front and as soon as they asked for a volunteer
to help in the show his hand went up and the next thing we knew he was up
there on the stage where the Rotten Brothers were going to pop a balloon
on the top of his head with a whip. Ok son, if you want to volunteer
to help out with the show you better be able to handle what they have in
store for you.
