One of the friendliest Park Presidents in the chain, Dave Roemer joined us for lunch and gave a nice "State of the Park" speech and a a few anecdotes from working there.

A new addition to the door prizes this year was an auction of parts from the Screaming Eagle. Bond and I won this part from the blue train. It's one of the brackets that attaches the wooden upper part of the car to the frame and wheels. Give me a few more years worth of auctions and we'll have a whole car.
