One thing that Six Flags has thankfully added in recent years to boost in
park spending are coupons. This year as we entered the gate we were
handed a buy one get one free coupon for funnel cakes. So Mike
got one for him and me and well...
...Bond devoured the other one.
The Tommy G. Robinson train was ready to go for opening weekend.
A great example of how Six Flags St. Louis is really ran well happened when
we went to Calico Sal's for lunch. We were in line and got our food
but right before Greg, Bond and I paid they switched out the cash register.
Well they couldn't get it back up and running (gremlins again) and after
about ten minutes the manager came out an told us that our lunch was on
them. Mike was a little unhappy as he had to pay but really it was
the right thing to do. When we ran into Six Flags St. Louis' Park
President Dave Roemer and told him about it he said that's they way he wants
it done. If there's a problem take care of the guest which is really
what Six Flags under the ownership of Dan Snyder has done.
One of the things I'd love to see restored to it's former glory is
the Riverview Racer Yo Yo ride. A Yo Yo should take you up and then
do it's weird forward and back rocking motion but this one doesn't do that
anymore. You just go up and then circle around which is fun but not
as fun as it could be.
