Daredevil Daze

We had to wait while the park cleared out for our night time ERT.
ERT was to be The Boss, Evel Knievel and The Screaming Eagle.
Here's Jeremy who was one of the Eagle's awesome ride operators who really
hustled to get us out and riding as quickly as possible. He is the
king of high speed restraint checking.
Kevin, Daniel, Bond and Allie were having a blast sitting on the Eagle during
ERT and not having to get off for seven laps.
As you can see almost everyone was having a great time the Eagle.
It was running fast and airtime filled and the lightening off in the distance
added to the ride.
Like any enthusiast event there are cameras all over the place and photos
are being constantly being snapped.
You know that lightening I mentioned earlier that we saw while riding the
Eagle? Well after a bunch of on the Eagle we headed on down to spend
some time on Evel when we found out that the park was closing the coasters
due to the coming storm. So we all milled around a bit talking and
then took one last photo of all of us before heading our separate ways.
It was great getting to get some rides and spend some time with our good
friends and even though mother nature didn't cooperate with us Daredevil
Daze was still a blast. Bond and I are for sure going back next year
when chances are it will be a smaller group and we'll get even more rides.
Thanks to Greg, the rest of the Heart of America ACE Regional Officers,
Six Flags St. Louis, Elizabeth Gotway who is SFStL's PR Manager and Dave
Roemer SFStL's President for putting on this awesome event.
