The virtual reality looked kind of cool and when you pressed the
side of the helmet your cannon fired so the ride is interactive.
I was really interested to see how a virtual reality enhance
d
coaster could be.  That was until we crested the lift and all
			hell broke loose.

By all hell breaking loose I do not mean that we were swarmed by
aliens in an epic battle to save the Earth.  What happened is
the video in both my headset and Bond's headset started to spin
around.  Speeding forward while ones vision spins around is not
a recipe for success for me.  It is a recipe for one thing and
			that is motion sickness.

Before we hit Shock Wave's first loop both of our eyes were shut and
I was hoping that our day wasn't done with as motion sickness took
			hold of me.

With a sticky, sweaty heavy helmet on my head and queasiness setting
in the next minute or so was one of the most unpleasant of my life.

Shock Wave is a smooth and amazingly fun coaster but throw in the
inability to open my eyes for fear of getting sick and putting a
weight on your head the ride felt like someone was punching me in
the head while I stood in total darkness unable to do anything about
			it.
