Six Flags Over Texas, Arlington, Texas

Another ride we are used to from frequenting Six Flags St. Louis is Pandemonium.  Just like the one at St. Louis this one used to be Tony Hawk's Big Spin before the chain decided to stop wasting money on licensing fees.  These are fun but continuing our credit run we had a ride on it and then moved on.

Another familiar ride was the Texas SkyScreamer.  Yes Six Flags St. Louis has a SkyScreamer but as everything has to be bigger in Texas this one goes up 400 feet almost doubling the height of the one we are used to.  What was frustrating is whenever we tried to ride this one winds kicked up and it was shut down.  Bigger may be better but it also is a bit more prone to wind related shut downs.

The new additions to Six Flags Over Texas this year is a package of new super villain themed flat rides.  There is The Riddler which is a pendulum type ride and the other new ride is this one which is The Catwoman's Whip.  It is a Zamperla Endeavor and it really looks like the modern variant of a classic Paratrooper ride.

Being a history buff and a member of the American Coaster Enthusiasts I always love seeing one of our plaques commemorating a little bit of coaster history at parks.
