There's not a lot to Shock Wave's track and there's even less to it's structure as Schwarzkopf went for more of a minimalist design with Shock Wave as well as Mindbender at Six Flags Over Georgia. With both of these rides almost thirty years old now still thrilling the masses and most of their contemporaries sold for scrap it's easy to say that Herr Schwarzkopf was onto something.

When Shock Waver debuted in the sight of a coaster taking its riders upside down not once but twice in these loops was a determining factor in several car crashes on I-30.

While it's not such a menace to traffic now Shock Wave's double loops are still a sight to behold.
