Looking at the empty seats one could assume that the park was empty that day but no, not for a Sunday on a holiday weekend. We were still having exclusive ride time before the park opened on Acrophobia, Georgia Cyclone, Georgia Scorcher, Dare Devil Dive, Mindbender, Batman AND Goliath. That's why Spring Fling is one of my favorite events.

Right here at the bottom of the first drop Goliath is getting pretty close to seventy miles an hour.

I am so enamored with Goliath. It's graceful, forceful, photogenic, thrilling and a few hundred adjectives that I could throw at it that would aptly fit.

It's hard to put in words but Goliath just flows perfectly for me and gives me everything I look for in a ride and that's why it is my #1 steel coaster and has kept that position since I first rode it five years ago.
