Goliath's spiral is a great break to the buffet of negative g's that
make up the ride. Buffet? Yeah I'm writing on an empty stomach
and have some pizza in the oven.
Here's Goliath flying by the Georgia Scorcher on it's way back into the
park. Actually this is the only Scorcher photo that I took on this
trip. It's not that I don't like the ride but with Mindbender, Dare
Devil Dive and Goliath it's sad to say that B&M's best stand up coaster
is easily overlooked.
Bond loved Goliath and gave it a big two thumbs up. All of the coasters
at Six Flags Over Georgia are brand new to Bond who at this point was over
140. Pretty good for an eleven year old. Heck I didn't hit 100
until 2000 just after Bond was born.
I know I have a ton of friends and ride operators who read this site and
all of you rock but Denise here with Bond is by far the Greatest Ride Operator
EVER! Oh my her joy and enthusiasm could be felt as we entered the
line down by the midway and I had more fun watching her get everyone on
Monster Mansion. She was having fun bantering with the guests, she
made sure everyone was having fun and she even worked in singing The Hues
Corporation's 1974 song "Don't Rock The Boat" into her spiel.
She is epic.
