Another quick credit for Bond was Flashback which is your standard
Vekoma Boomerang. He was not happy having to break his "Boomerang
Free Diet" for this trip but as a good father I rode the pain, I mean the
ride with him in order to keep his spirits up.
A ride he did enjoy grabbing a quick spin on was The Great Chase.
Hidden behind the Thunderbolt and easily passed up is this little airtime
filled gem. Don't miss it because it is a really fun ride.
Bond is not a Vekoma fan but this coaster is a Vekoma design that both of
us enjoy.
Goliath is one of three Vekoma "Super Inverted Boomerangs" that were built
at Six Flags Great America, Six Flags Over Georgia and Six Flags Magic Mountain
for the 2001 season.
None of the three exist at their original locations anymore. The one
from
Six Flags Great America
is currently at Silverwood in Idaho, the one from
Six Flags Over Georgia
is in Brazil and the one from
Six Flags Magic Mountain headed east to Six Flags New England where
it became Goliath in 2012.
