That nondescript metal building is where all of the coasters at Six Flags Magic Mountain are given tons of tender loving care.

Like at every amusement park when a coasters trains reach so many hours of use they have various preventative maintenance schedules.  Some of the maintenance can be conducted on the ride but some of what needs to be done to keep all eighteen coasters at Six Fags Magic Mountain up, running and most importantly safe calls for a complete tear down of a train.

That is why you have all sorts of coaster trains before us.  Remember how I said that Revolution was currently a one train operation?  Well here is the second train that's in pieces on pallets.

Everything on the trains are broken down, inspected and restored to brand new condition before the train can be certified and sent back out on the track with guests aboard.  I do have to admit that I saw several things here that I'd love to take as a souvenier.

We did have a special guest join us on our tour as the old Six Flags Bus that Mr. Six from the chains old advertising campaign used to drive was there.  I don't think a person walked by this without the Venga Boys song "We Like To Party" getting stuck in their heads.

I say bring back Mr. Six.
