Moving on back to the coasters here is a nice view of Goliath from the back lot.

Goliath with it's appropriately impressive entrance is one of two hyper coasters built for Six Flags by Giovanola.

This one opened in 2000 while a slightly longer version opened in 2001 as Titan at Six Flags Over Texas.

Unfortunately despite working in the background in the amusement park industry building rides for other designers after Titan opened Giovanola filed for bankruptcy and closed for good in 2004.  What is really unfortunate for us is the two hyper coasters they built are really amazing machines.

Goliath and Titan both feature stellar drops, great layouts, a comfortable ride and some of the most forceful rides out there here it comes to positive, negative and especially lateral g forces.  To put it another way these coasters are not for those with weak constitutions.
