The West Coast Racers Rollercoaster under construction - American Coaster Enthusiasts Coaster Con 42 at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California

There are always behind the scenes tours for a Con and Six Flags Magic Mountain gave us a tour from one end of the park to the other. This tour actually began at the front of the park and wrapped around Twisted Colossus, Goliath, through the Coaster Shop and then finally back to the construction site for West Coast Racers. As it was an active work area hard hats were needed.

Located on and over what used to be the Cyclone Bay section of Six Flags Magic Mountain West Coast Racers is to be the big new ride for 2019.

As you can see in June there was still quite a bit to complete before West Coast Racers would be ready to roll.

West Coast Racers is a racing/dueling magnetically launched coaster.

There are twin tracks but riders of West Coast Racers get to experience both of them.
