As I mentioned there are two reasons to head up to the top of Samurai Summit and Superman Escape from Krypton is one of them.



Originally known as Superman The Escape when the rides cars faced forwards this is the loudest coaster in the world.  I'd try to describe the sound but I can't.  Just take a visit to Six Flags Magic Mountain and you will hear it from every corner of the park as well as surrounding environs.  What was amusing was I had to attend a meeting with all of the American Coaster Enthusiasts Regional Representatives at a nearby theater and every time Superman ran we had to stop our conversation and wait until the ride was over to be able to continue.



As we are talking about Superman as I mentioned the 400 foot tall Lex Luthor's Drop of Doom earlier in this trip report how about I give you a look at it in the daylight.



It really is a long haul up the four hundred feet of tower but having almost twice the drop as most of the free fall rides in the world the Drop of Doom is airtime nirvana.



This is a model the second reason to make the hike; or ride on the Helpful Honda Express, up to the top of the summit.  This is Ninja!
