Ninja is one of four remaining suspended coasters in North America that was designed by Arrow Dynamics.

Parks only purchased ten of these insanely fun coasters from Arrow Dynamics between 1981 and 1993. Ninja is the fifth one that I have added to my coaster count.

Ninja was down for maintenance when I visited in 2001 so I didn't get to ride it then. This time though it didn't look like I'd get it as Ninja was closed for maintenance leading up to the Con. Thankfully maintenance got it up and running for is and I have to say that after my first ride I was in love.

Ninja is everything I wanted to do with a suspended coaster (minus the loop) since I rode my first one; XLR-8 at Six Flags Astroworld, in 1986.

Ninja is like Six Flags and Arrow Dynamics read my mind, found the perfect terrain and made me a coaster.
