Heading up the mountain
our next stop was Tatsu.
The idea of flying coasters is something that I love but I have never
been on one that really hit what I think they should be.
When I first heard that Six Flags Magic Mountain was going to use the
hillside for a flying coaster I was so excited until I saw the plans.
Tatsu starts out great with a nice spiraling drop around the parks Sky
Tower but then it doesn't dive down the side of the
mountain hugging all of that terrain as I would have designed.
Instead of doing the terrain hugging flying coaster Tatsu spends its time high above the ground. I have to say
that I didn't get it. I mean you can build a coaster that is way
off the ground on a flat park so what's the big deal? When all
the reports that came back to me that the coaster was amazing I couldn't
quite get my head around it.
