Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom
Louisville, Kentucky
Fright Fest 2004

With the coaster season coming
to a close many parks transform themselves into a spooky place to lure
the crowds back for one last blast before the winds of winter make it
too cold to even think of riding coasters. Six Flags calls their
Halloween event Fright Fest. I have been to the Fright Fest in
Chicago and
St. Louis so this year I took a couple of trips to Louisville to
grab a few end of the year rides on Greezed Lightnin' and to see how
their Fright Fest stood up to the others.
Either Jesus showed up and
turned water into wine or the red water is part of the dressing for
Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom's Fright Fest.
The first ride that you come
to at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom is the Hellivator, their drop ride.
I love kicking any day at Six
Flags Kentucky Kingdom with a free fall from fifteen stories on the
Hellivator. It's sure to wake anyone up more than a couple of
coups of coffee.
This spooky clown looks like
the spawn of Ronald McDonald and the Burger King. Actually this
is the entrance to one of the parks two haunted houses.
