Six Flags Great America decided that they wanted something a bit
more intense for their dive coaster so Dr. Diabolical headed south and
Six Flags Great America waited until the time, and the ride design was
just right.
For decades Bolliger & Mabillard have been the best of the best in the
steel coaster world. Their rides have always been thrilling, super
reliable, crowd pleasers, and smooth.
When a park installed a coaster by B&M it was pretty much a home run.
The thing is with the new coasters that B&M were installing for the 2025
season things didn't seem right. The first issue was when Kings
Dominion showed footage of their new launched wing coaster testing.
On a completely straight launch track you could see the cars bouncing as
they sped by. When that ride opened word got out quickly that it
had a bunch of vibration making parts of it pretty rough.
When Wrath of Rakshasa opened word quickly got around the avoid the
outside seats. If you wanted a smooth ride, you know the kind of
ride that B&M coasters were known for sit as far to the middle of the
train as possible.
