Taking that advice on my first ride I asked for a middle seat.
Unfortunately
they were not able to accommodate that request so I
was sent to an outside seat.

My preferred seat on a dive coaster is always the front row outside
seat. Out there you feel really OUT THERE as there is nothing
above you, nothing beneath you, and on one side nothing as well.
It's a wonderfully free feeling place to sit. On top of that as
the outside seat is a considerable distance from the center of the train
even the slightest banking moves you around.

Looking down on The Demon as I perched on the edge of Wrath of
Rakshasa's first drop the thought "it can't be that bad" passed through
my brain. At the bottom of the first drop I knew.

Wow, it really was bad. The rattle had me bouncing around in my
seat and it felt like I was on The Demon. In shock my brain said
"It'll get better" but as Wrath of Rakshasa sped up near the bottom of
every drop the vibration came back. By the time Wrath hit the
brakes at the end of the ride the only thing that I was thinking was the
question to B&M is "what have you done"?

It was really frustrating is that Six Flags Great America chose a
wonderfully intense ride that should rank up there as one of the best
rides in the park. Due to whatever they changed with their new for
2025 coasters, after my first ride, Wrath of Rakshasa sat somewhere at
the bottom of my list of favorite coasters at Six Flags Great America.
