From 2004 to 2023 The Revolution sat where the blue and yellow shade awnings are.  Revolution was a smaller but similar ride to Sky Striker.  Instead of facing out from the center of the platform guests rode facing inward.  It never seemed to have much of a line probably because it was quite literally a "spin and puke" ride.  With Sky Striker offering a less sickening ride and quite a bit more thrilling as it swings significantly faster and taller it is no surprise that Revolution was removed.



With Sky Striker taking the place of the old Daredevil Dive the entrance to this underrated classic has seen a few changes.



The American Eagle has a soft space in my heart because since my first visit to Great America back in 1981 it has been THE big coaster in the park.  Whenever we went to Great America or headed up to Wisconsin we could see it for miles around.  It kept my eye from the first glint of it until it disappeared beneath the horizon.



The American Eagle at it's peak with both sides racing is really an amazing airtime filled classic coaster.



This ride can be so much fun but unfortunately is REALLY needs some serious attention.
