These refill stations for those who have season pass bottles or even those all day drink bottles are a great idea.  Well they would be a great idea if any of them were open.



The three of us were having so much fun that we wanted to ride, ride and ride some more.  Unfortunately there were dark clouds on the horizon as thunderstorms headed into the area.



The big rides shut down the closer the storms came to the park so we hopped on some of the rides that weren't closed yet.



The Super-Villains Swing is just some more of the fresh paint and new signage for the DC Universe.

Originally opened as the Whirligig it was my mothers favorite ride at the park.  When I first visited in 1980 she and I rode it over and over and over.  That became a tradition of all of our visits to Great America and other parks over the years.  She'd always ride with her arms out with the biggest grin on her face as she spun around.  I miss that and it was hard taking a ride for her now that she is no longer with us.



Not going to ride it as these can make me sick but I love the name.
