The storms got closer and closer and more and more of the parks rides were shut down.  We moved indoors to take a spin on The Dark Knight before heading to Rue La Dodge for some bumper car fun.  Unfortunately the winds were so hard that rain was coming sideways into Rue La Dodge causing the ride to shut down.



With torrential downpours and storm clouds backed up to Iowa our day was pretty much going to be cut short.



The day wasn't completely cut short as the Columbia Carousel was still running.



We splashed our way up to the second story and waited for the carousel to come to a stop before being able to board into the dry part of the ride.  Downstairs with all of the rain blowing in everyone down there got soaked while upstairs was pretty dry.



As you can see it was a heck of a storm.
